NDA vacancies arrive for 300 candidates twice a year with 195 joining the Indian Army.

2. 10+2 Tech Entry Scheme

This type of entry is through 85 vacancies twice a year. The applicants should be 16.5 to 19.5 years in age and 10+2 pass with 70% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM).

3. Indian Military Academy (Non-Tech)

The Indian Army recruits 250 candidates twice a year.

4.Short Service Commission (Non-Tech)

There are 175 vacancies per course twice a year with applicants needing to be aged between 19 and 25 years and a graduate from a recognised university.

5. NCC Special (Men & Women)

With 50 vacancies per course twice a year, NCC Special age criteria is 19 to 25 years with education qualification of graduation with LLB / LLM with 50% aggregate marks and 2 years of service in National Cadet Corps (NCC) Senior Division Army with minimum 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam.

6. TGC Education (AEC)

The Technical Graduate Course for Army Education Corps Entry requires applicants to be between 23 to 27 years and have an MA / MSC in 1st or 2nd division

7. Universal Entry Scheme (UES)

For this entry with 60 vacancies per course, candidates have to be 19 to 25 years for Final Year and 18 to 24 years for Pre-Final Year

8. TGC (Engineers)

The Indian Army comes out with vacancies as notified, twice a year for aspirants between 21 and 27 years with BE / B. Tech

9.JAG (Men & Women)  

The Judge Advocate General entry requires applicants to be between 21 and 27 years of age
